Students in this program will explore the biblical, theological, and practical foundations of worship, music, and youth ministry. The curriculum integrates coursework in theology, music theory and performance, worship planning and leadership, pastoral care, and youth and family ministry.Ìý

The BS in Bible + Master of Arts (Religion) dual-level program is designed for students with a wide range of ministry and professional goals.ÌýAll students receive a broad foundational education in the inerrant Word of God and in the key doctrines of the Christian faith. Students take foundational courses, plus innovative courses designed to prepare them for teaching, preaching, and other ministries in the local church. All courses are designed and taught by 91³Ô¹Ï professors, who bring their scholarly expertise and ministry experience to bear.

The 91³Ô¹Ï dual-level BS in Bible/MAR program allows you to condense what would be six years of study (four-year bachelor’s + two-year master’s) into just five years by starting master-level courses as early as your junior year. You’ll be able to complete all requirements for both degrees in as few as five years without taking summer courses.Ìý

You will also continue to receive your undergraduate scholarships and tuition aid for all five years of study, which will save you thousands of dollars.

At 91³Ô¹Ï, we believe that psychological and spiritual health centers on the restoration of a person’s relationships—with God and with our fellow man. Building on classroom learning, our students practice models and methods for effective counseling using intensive small-group training cohorts. We utilize these small groups not only to provide training, practice and feedback, but also enhance student’s growth in their relationship with Christ. We also focus on small group techniques for healing relationships through weekly labs with an intimate cohort of fellow believers preparing to serve the Great Reconciler, Jesus Christ.

Alongside it, the MA program will take your learning to the next level through models and methods for effective counseling using intensive small group training cohorts and labs. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have an understanding of people and how to effectively provide godly counsel in a non-clinical setting for many different areas of life.

A Youth and Family Ministry degree gives you a deep knowledge of the Bible and church leadership with a particular focus on ministry to young people and their families. Additionally, a Master of Divinity prepares you for broader church ministry through a study of theology and the Scriptures—usually in the original languages. In this program, you will be prepared as a well-educated and effective ministry leader with children, youth, families, or the whole church.

A Youth and Family Ministry degree gives you a deep knowledge of the Bible and church leadership with a particular focus on ministry to young people and their families. Additionally, a Master of Business offers the quantitative and operational skills necessary to help drive business success, but also understand the importance of organizational dynamics and the essential values required for ethical, moral, and wise leadership in today’s marketplace, church, or parachurch ministry. This combination of degrees sets you apart in the job market and allows for more opportunities for growth in your career.

A Youth and Family Ministry degree gives you a deep knowledge of the Bible and church leadership with a particular focus on ministry to young people and their families. Additionally, a Master of Arts (Religion) provides you with further biblical and theological instruction to aid you in your ministry. This program focuses on understanding the needs, culture, and developmental issues of adolescents laying the foundation for forward-thinking ministry models.

A Studio Art degree develops your artistic talent and technique through rigorous instruction and practice in the studio. Paired with a MS in Education, you will have the educational know-how to teach art in school settings. Courses concentrate on foundational art concepts, art history, educational philosophy, and curriculum development—all while building your skills in various art mediums. By completing this program, you will be able to teach in both public and private schools, as this program prepares you to receive the Pennsylvania Instructional I Art Education (PK–12) certification and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Art Education (K–12) certification.

A Secondary Social Studies program is designed to develop critical and creative thinking, reflection on practice, and the disposition to engage children actively in their own learning. The curriculum includes three integrated components: a body of general studies to develop a depth in social studies content knowledge; education courses to align learning theory, curricular design and subject-specific methodology practices in social studies; and performance-based school placements for applied, contextual practice in a secondary social studies classroom. By completing this program in conjunction with the MS in Education, you will receive more in-depth training and be better prepared to be an effective educator in your classroom.
